Sonic and the Secret Rings Reader Review

The 3d sonic games have been terrible since Sonic adventure 2. The 360/ps3 Sonic game failed badly in terms of everything. After reading a few reviews I thought I would get it and give a try. The first impressions are good, it does take a few goes to learn the controls but the tutorial makes it easy to learn the controls. The voice acting is the same as ever but you have to expect that from sonic games but is not a major problem. The graphics are good with some nice effects as race around the sky levels.

So far I was enjoying the game then I opened the levitated ruins world and the game become very annoying as the wind can blow you back and its very difficult to control Sonic. After completing a few levels, the game gives another horribly designed and frustrating world called pirate storm. From an experienced gamer I found the game so frustrating to play I've given up.

Sonic Team almost made a decent 3d sonic game. The difficulty of the game becomes so uneven it makes the game a chore to play.
