This is the "real" SOCOM the original team is working on, right? Not the downloadable one? Looks good either way, question is if the gameplay will be good enough to drag people away from CoD4.

Oh well that's great, this looks stunning for a downloadable title. I've seen some less-then-stellar images from the game earlier, but this looks promising.

So they took the existing levels from the Ghost Recon games and threw new character models in there, right? :)
That wasn't a sarcastic comment aimed at the guy above, it just looks a hell of a lot like every other shooter out there, although I've heard it's all in the gameplay with the Socom titles though.

American military stuff.

American gamers will go nuts over this.
And lots of you Brits too, as your nation is kinda army minded too.
Us Belgians, we couldn't even keep the eskimo's out if they invaded us with their canoos.

Oh wel, being an ex SOCOM player, I'll get this for sure. Seth Luisi, producer on all previous SOCOM games, and also on this game, knows what Clans. So it'll be ace.

that the best they can do on the PS3? it almost looks cartoony with the low res textures, bad shadowing and lack of filters.

The thing I gon't like about this sort of game is that their heads look funny. Their faces are ugly and a bit wrong

That would be Socom 4 I imagine. This shows they are really utilizing the lack of a file size limit for downloadable titles.
