Guitar hero - i can understand.

In fact - i dont really understand why (in party mode) all songs arent unlocked from day 1.

I might not be agreeing with most of you but I find this quite reasonable for these reasons:

1) If you are a casual gamer and want to unlock everything it makes sense considering the scope of the game. Its fun to just grind around for half an hour and then move on.

2) Its less than 5€. Fair price.

3) If it did not cost anything it would be too tempting to do for some people, possibly ruining it for those who are prone to easily giving up when stuck.

I'm sure it's just an experiment on the publisher's part - to see how consumers react to it. Much like the legendary horse armour.

I can sort of see the appeal, but personally I can't think of a game for which I would pay for what is essentially a cheat code.
