SingStar update delayed till next week

No voice control or Trophies just yet.

So much for the SingStar update that was supposed to go live yesterday - it won't be available for a little while yet.

"There's been a slight delay to the online update which is due to bring you lots of great new features," Sony told Eurogamer this morning.

"We promise it will be worth the wait and it will be with you early next week!"

Update 3.01 will introduce voice controls and Trophies to SingStar PS3. Update 4.01, due to be released later in the year, will cause the microphones to act like the breathalyzers they put in drunk drivers' cars, preventing intoxicated people from shaming themselves into oblivion. In our dreams.
