The word "risk" when applied to another FPS makes me laugh. What about doing something outside your established genres, Sierra?

I think they mean they will push the boundries and come up with new ideas and games rather than make follow ups... like the new FEAR game. :S

See, I don't think this is that bad a thing.

I hate the way every good (and even more mediocre) games just rely on sequel after sequel.

Not saying they aren't good games, but honestly, its like movies. Go into a theatre (or torrent site) and try finding movies without a digit at the end.
