SFIV could get Dee Jay, T-Hawk News

Street Fighter IV producer Yoshinori Ono said characters T. Hawk and Dee Jay can be added to the fighting game if fans shout loud enough.

"The development team said, 'We want them in!'" Ono told Famitsu (read by Kotaku). "Honestly, we did the modelling up to the pre-texturing. We made the fight settings for T. Hawk in Street Fighter IV.

"If users make their voices known, this prep work is something we can revive at any time."

But obviously don't shout, because T. Hawk is rubbish and Dee Jay fights like that break-dancing Power Ranger.

Plus, the console version of Street Fighter IV, which launches tomorrow, already boasts a beefier roster than the arcade release. Fighters Cammy, Fei-Long, Dan, Rose, Sakura and Gen have all been added. And Akuma, Seth and Gouken are all now playable.

I hate Dee Jay. I like T.Hawk. I would accept having to buy both if they were DLC as a package.

Please, don't ask. Anybody. Ever.

The only thing either character is good for is their brief appearances in SF2: the Animated Movie. When told that the Shadowlaw (yes, I know) are after Deejay, he gleefully replies "yahoo, dey are some badass mother fuckers, I am honoured." Quality dialogue. And T-Hawk gets the immortal lines, when being thought of in comparison to Ryu, "the vagabond who fell off the earth... you compare him to ME!?"

Quality. Sheer brilliance.

I thought the lettering on the Dee jay sprite was pretty clever (each letter can be horizontally reversed, so it looks fine when the sprite is flipped)

buts that's the height of the character's appeal for me ;)

HAHAHA the fans only need to ask! now thats funny.

Id bet good money that theyve already got quite a few characters prepped and ready to go on the download stores already. I mean come on the Jap PSN store already has Downloadable costume packs.

All tho on the whole DLC is a good thing there are lots of companys pulling out small portions of the game to sell as DLC close to launch for a quick extra buck.

Dee Jay wasn't so bad in Alpha 3 on A-ism, huge combo's if you could get in to do them.

T-Hawk is painfully bad.

I love T.Hawk, only because I love fighting him! When he tries to swoop down on you and you just dragon punch him in the face, there's no sweeter feeling! And I have to love Deejay because of my Jamaican heritage, although no-one in Jamaica really plays maracas all that much.... :)

Could they add Birdie? He'd work well with style of this game, I think. Perhaps he could use the chain wrapped around his fist as a weapon, to give him something extra. I'd also like them to consider adding Karin, because she's really fast and wily.

Dee Jay and T-Hawk? Please, no. Some characters should just be allowed to die.
Actually quite a lot of SF characters should be allowed to die (Birdie and Sodom spring to mind also).

I would like to see Karin return though, she remains my favourite SFA3 character.

What are you people going on about? Dee Jay is my main character in HD Remix, he's a ton of fun. And Hawk isn't bad either, to be honest. There are other characters that I'd rather see than Hawk - Guy springs to mind, or Karin or even R. Mika, but hey, if Capcom have the models finished and all, why not do a few textures and give us even more value to a great game?

Seriously though, DeeJay and T. Hawk have equivelent's already in the game - it really is missing a Rolento/Ibuki/Guy style character - mad speed, lots of air, low damage threshhold, big combos. Vega and El Fuerto come close, but again, not quite.

The more the merrier as far as I am concerned. Nothing wrong with more characters.

While Capcom are at it, release Marvel vs Capcom 2 and Capcom vs SNK 2. That is all.

Seeing as we already have the full ssf2t roster apart from Deejay and T.Hawk, this WILL happen regardless of any shouting, but whether they add Alpha or SF3 characters will remain to be seen... they may do a final fight pack including Cody, Guy and Rolento. Or a sf1 pack with Birdie, Adon and...errr Geki? lol

I dont think t.hawk and dee jay are nesessary for sf4.
But i would like to see more chaarcters from SF ALPHA'S and Zero's like Birdie or addon or orlando or guy or even alex fro sf3 and elena.. well JUST DONT GIVE US DEE JAY AND T HAWK :p
