Is there balance issues with the character roster?

I think its more efficient to learn how to play as Ken and Ryu since you have so many similar Shoto characters. That's my reason anyway, I've always used Ken since I was a wee lad, which is another reason. Too set in my ways now to learn how to use all these charge type characters...

I'm just as incompetent now as I've ever been, had SF games on megadrive and saturn too...
I'm hoping the training this game gives will give me enough ability to do things like, I don't know, block attacks without getting hit straight afterwards with another attack. And one day I'm hoping to get the Akuma acheivement on easy for SF2HDR, the standard I am now I can't even get to fight him.

Gamestation sell it for £29.99 online with free delivery.
I got mine at HMV paid £34.99 but got a nice embossed slip case/box with it.
How tough is Seth? It's very difficult on medium difficulty but just about possible with some crafty strategy. But I would wop the level down to easiest to unlock the characters - stops the big headache against Seth.

In SS2HDR you can only hear the selection - but you can tell if they use Ken or Ryu how many times they go down.
I like kicking the butt of Ken and Ryu players with my fave Vega. It's nice to learn what the newer characters can do.

You must know how to use the Ultra/Revenge move and assign a 3xpunch & 3xkick to R1 & R2 shoulder buttons. It's essential when your playing online!!!!
Plus the EX moves are great to mix things up a bit!

Yeah Akuma comes under the same label as Ryu and Ken.
And whilst I beat most, if I lose to one more underplayed Kentard online I'll cry a little.

Getting repeatedly ganked by Seth on ez-mode on Ryu, Viper, Blanka etc = epic fail
Spamming Sagat's tiger uppercut to flid my way thru = even more epic fail

Good Zangief, I'm fed up with noobs online! Dhalsim you that letter tomorrow, if I'm Abel. It's very good, Seth for the part about the car. I Honda hand it to you though, you did a good job.
El Fuerte you had the keys with you? Vega-way, you can let me Balrog it later. Hello? Are you there? Don't Blanka me!

For some reason new fighters always tempt me. I almost never buy one but when I do (Tekken 3, GG X, Soul Calibur 2, Tekken 5 from PSN) I never play them. I just don't have the patience to learn ridiculously convoluted control schemes.
I get bored from most other stuff very quickly as well but fighters really are in a class of their own.
