Very well written article. And I'd love to wear a Sombrero on a funeral.

The "doubles penetration" joke was almost as legendary as the "pearl necklace".

yup good idea on the funeral sombrero action

I still have my fishing controller and I am highly annoyed there is not one of them, nor proper maracas for Samba :(

Surely some 3rd party peripheral developer is designing 'clip on' Maracus as we speak?

Nice to see Ms Kier didnt manage to kill Ulala after all.

And, yeah, a superstars tennis was as inevitable as night follows day.

Why don't sega come up with some new inventive titles that fit with the wii remote, rather than just rehashing games that I've played before to work with a less-than-ideal sounding control device.

HOTD was good becasue it had a cool gun peripheral
Bass Fishing was good because you had the cool rod peripheral
Samba de amigo etc etc ...

I know Sega don't make the hardware anymore, but they could try harder.

The first time I played Jambo Safari I was hugely upset to find out that you weren't hunting scottish pissheads. They missed a trick there. There should be a sequel where you can do this. I demand it.

I'm still interested in all those titles even though I've got them on the Dreamcast already (except Tennis, of course). POSE!
But there is no excuse for not including HotD (Saturn) in the compilation! (Well, actually, there might be an excuse, but I haven't heard it yet)

@Speedjack

We did have the DS version of Tennis at hand on the day - and it seemed to go down very well. Not sure why there are no screens out there, but we're very proud of the DS version, it's certainly had lots of love and attention poured into it :)

I'm sure closer to release you'll be seeing more of it!

SST sounds ace, the others not so much. After being a true Dreamcast zealot for some years now, I think I'll find Samba and Fishing impossible without the maracas and fishing rod. Might give HotD another go though, once the price drops.

Is it just me , or has Ellie gotten dirtier recently? She can't seem to finish an article these days without including a reference to some deviant sex act or the other...I suspect being locked up for days playing colourful kids' minigame compilations is beginning to get to her.

This is dire. I don't mind that the first run of Wii games were mostly lame, but this is what we're waiting for?? Every one more boring than the last. And it hadn't started well.

Not very inspiring from Sega. If they must do ports then port some arcade games that never made it to console.

Star Wars Trilogy Arcade would be perfect for the Wiimote.
