Wow, so that's how they're gonna render the games in 720p!
Hurrah to the MAME upscaling filter! :P

Ah, they're the same ones as the XBLA ones (Sof2 and Sonic 2, at least). I didn't mind that weird smudging effect, but they hardly benefit from HD.

better with the filter off tbh!

i heard the xbox360 version can't handle it in true HD and has to upscale from 240i

the PS3 deffo renders it all in proper HD!!!!11111!1!!1111

Fuck the upscale filter, ugh. Anybody who likes those filters is a fucking idiot, I'm sorry. It fucking mangles the graphics, makes them look completely retarded to the point where you can hardly tell what a sprite was originally supposed to be, all so some people can say "oh but its 720p lol!".

Does anyone actually care about these shonky old games now? Being into retro games is so... retro.

As a car dealer friend of my dad's once said to me as I pondered buying a 'classic' car, 'There's nowt better than a good old motor, lad... Apart from a good f&*king new one.'

Works okay for sonic but streets of rage looks terrible.

Uhh... yeah. Here's another car analogy, old games are to new games like an older Volvo is to a brand new smart car. The smart may be shinier and more modern, but... I know which one I'd go for. Hint: not the piece of shiny, shallow throwaway shit.

I was really hoping for Castle (or World) of Illusion or Quackshot. This line-up is possibly too similar to "Sega Megadrive Collection" that I can already play on my PS3, upscaled.
