SEGA dates Condemned, Viking
First quarter nailed down.
SEGA has whipped out its new Hollyoaks calendar and nailed down its release dates for the first quarter of 2008.
This month sees the release of NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams (Wii) and Ghost Squad (Wii) on the 18th, followed by expansion Phantasy Star: Ambition of the Illuminus (PC, PS2) and Universe at War: Earth Assault (PC) on 25th Jan.
Moving into February and Bizarre Creations will release its ambitious shooter The Club (PS3, PC, 360) alongside the DS version of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games on the 8th. After those comes Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity (PS2, Wii) on 22nd, and fighting game Bleach (Wii, DS) on 28th.
March looks like the 360 version of Universe at War on the 7th, followed by impressive titles Condemned 2 (360, PS3) on 14th, and Viking: Battle for Asgard (360, PS3) on 28th. Oh, and SEGA Superstars Tennis (360, PS3, PS2, Wii, DS) will be out on 28th March, too.
Not bad.

I also saw Phantasy Star Uni on PS2 the other day for £5. Is it worth that, if I don't play online?

We also have Burnout, DMC4 and TUROK. Turok received 90% in Play magazine btw.

Really? Does this happen to be a world exclusive, perchance? I'm seriously sceptical that this is a genuine 90% game (i.e. like Crysis or Uncharted), or whether they got the exclusive if they bumped the score up.

Other than that quiet few weeks since the last hot releases couple of weeks before Christmas, so a very quiet release-wise front (month long) but allowing us poor harried gamers (last six months too much good games) a necessary breathing space to finish off games!
Eternal Sonata and Super Mario Galaxy getting my full attention until NiGHTS.

It might be. I was surprised by the score myself.
90% Play Magazine
Even with a weak script, Turok's flexible play mechanics, strong level designs, and high production values make the story mode alone worth the price of admission.

NiGHTS and JSRF characters as playable characters FTW!
