Scott Pilgrim game gets US date

Middle of August.

Those of you keen to have a crack on Ubisoft's Scott Pilgrim vs. The World game will be able to do so on 10th August.

That's if you're American anyway, because Joystiq's spotted signage on the publisher's E3 booth that says it will be out then.

The European PlayStation Store is usually updated on Wednesdays, so hopefully we'll see the game on 11th August, although there's no immediate word on that.

As revealed last week, the Scott Pilgrim game is a four-player brawler featuring Pilgrim, Ramona Flowers, Kim Pine and Stephen Stills from the comic.

There will also be unlockable characters, modes and levels.

The game's a timed exclusive on PlayStation 3, but there's no word on when an Xbox 360 version - also in development - will be released.
