Saved films for Duke Nukem XBLA
Out in September says Microsoft.
Duke Nukem 3D will sport a saved-film feature when the game launches on Xbox Live Arcade next month.
Or so say Microsoft representatives speaking at X08 in Canada, according to Joystiq.
Saved films do what you expect, and will be shareable with friends and maybe family if they play games or maybe just want to see how you are getting on in life.
3D Realms popped Duke Nukem 3D into Microsoft certification earlier this week. We still know fairly little about what to expect, but hope split-screen and Live multiplayer make an appearance, if not two appearances.
3D Realms boss George Broussard told us to expect a price of "about what you'd expect", which we expect means we'll have to remortgage the house. Or possibly pay 800 Points (GBP 6.80 / EUR 9.60).
What are you waiting for, Christmas?

Errr??? A bit useless in this game isn't it? Not like the 3D engine will be amazing to look at. I would have preferred dev time going to something else here.

Nothing like 10 straight deathmatches of Duke Nukem 3D with mates at a LAN Party followed by an hour's break on the beach with some brewskies (that's my teenage years, that was) *sigh

Duke nukem 3D had the most depth out of any online FPS I've ever played because of the diverse weapons - looking forward to it!
