Samba summer, Condemned late March

SEGA adjusts release dates.

SEGA is currently targeting 28th March for the release of Condemned 2: Bloodshot on PS3 and 360, and has also updated dates for Samba de Amigo on Wii and others.

Samba de Amigo will be with us in summer, the publisher told Eurogamer. In the meantime, Brain Assist DS is due on 14th March, with Happy Tree Friends due for PC and 360 in summer.

SEGA Superstars Tennis, as reported recently, is down for 20th March on several formats including 360 and Wii, with Viking: Battle for Asgard PS3/360 and SEGA Bass Fishing and House of the Dead II & III Return for Wii on 28th March.

Valkyria Chronicles is due for PS3 this summer also.

Bloodshot, to go with the biggie, slips players into the tramp-like form of Ethan Thomas, a serial-killer-hunting special agent who's fallen on hard times since the end of the first game.

The first-person action game, developed by Monolith, boasts a more developed hand-to-hand combat system than its predecessor, and a refined system of investigating crime scenes.

There are also a range of multiplayer modes, including deathmatch, team deathmatch, bum rush (tramps versus agents) and crime scenes, where agents have to try and retrieve evidence from the tramps using equipment.

    Point of Information: Didn't SEGA/Monolith take the 'Bloodshot' part of the name off the box? I'm pretty sure it's just Condemned 2 now.

    I think its been taken off in the EU and Australia.

    Still, really looking forward to this though, my 360 is due back from Microsoft around then. Hope it works. :)

    This is gutting news. I loved the first Condemned game to pieces and I've been patiently building up my excitement to get my hands on this. Sega should be damn right Condemned for putting it back another few weeks. Bar stewards, the lot of them.

    SEGA is finally, FINALLY, releasing some titles I actually might consider buying - something I've not particularly felt a need to do since the Dreamcast days.

    It's just a shame that they seem to be wanting to make my Dreamcast redundant by re-releasing all the great titles on other formats ;0)

    Oh, and boo to condemned 2 being delayed. That and Viking on the same day means it'll be a SEGA friday for me :0)

    Condemned 2 and Viking will be great. Dark Sector will be FANTASTIC though. Ive read an early review and trust me this game is going to be this years biggest surprise!!

    Some retailers have now got Condemned 2 down for 04/04?

    Even Sega Europe's site.

    04/04 it is for sure.

    Ok heres hoping Viking will make it 28/03 atleast. Hopefully i can complete it in a week then switch to Condemned 2 or/and Dark Sector.
