Sam & Max names, dates News

PC News by Tom Bramwell

14 December, 2007

Telltale Games has listed the names and release dates for the next three episodes in the second season of Sam & Max adventure games.

The next one, due out on 10th January, is called Moai Better Blues, and will be followed on 15th February by Night of the Raving Dead and on 14th March by Chariots of the Dogs. The final episode is due out on 11th April, but hasn't been named yet. Unless "TBA" is actually what they're going for.

It's worth remembering, of course, that each of those dates refers to the GameTap release date, with the general Telltale website release occurring a day later.

They are all preparing to follow in the footsteps of Season Two's first episode, Ice Station Santa, which we still haven't reviewed because we're a bit slack. Also, because Kristan does so enjoy his Sam & Max games and he's on holiday at the moment. Playing games, probably. He's a bit basic.

For more on the Sam & Max games, pop yourself off to the Telltale Games website, where you can grab any of the Season One efforts, including the free one called Abe Lincoln Must Die.

Or you could watch a trailer for Moai Better Blues over on Eurogamer TV.

Still so happy that season two started so much quicker than I expected.

And then there's already another one coming out. I am almost tempted to go and hug those guys, if only the water wasn't in the way.

Been finding it hard to get excited enough about season 2 to buy it.. even though both the trailers have so far been brilliant

just thought I'd check out Abe Lincoln must die so I downloaded it. Shame it doesn't work and none of the advice on telltale's site helped to get it running. All i had after leaving it half an hour was a window trying to sell me the rest of the Sam n Max games.
I hope they sort out proper vista support soon :(

6 time lucky it actually started with some random clicking..

Darkedge, Abe Lincoln Must Die should be okay on Vista. If you send an email to support@telltalegames.com about the problem you're having I'll be happy to troubleshoot it with you.

Tell you what telltale..

if you make a downloadable wii version of this season i'll buy it.

I liked the first season, but can't be bothered spending long periods of time sat at my desk playing the new one

Think I'll treat myself to Season Two for Christmas. Really enjoyed Season One, especially episode 5.

You see, I know of no other support team that wanders comment threads on other sites trying to find people to help. It's almost vigilante. But legal.
