Sakaguchi not retiring after all?

"Last work" comments clarified.

Hironobu Sakaguchi, the creator of the Final Fantasy series, may not be about to retire after all.

Comments appearing on his blog last week suggested Wii RPG The Last Story could be his last game.

But now the blog has been updated with a new English translation which reads a little differently.

"The energy poured into this project by the development team and I are 120 per cent," it says.

"I'm hoping you can understand that, however on the other hand, I feel worried and nervous like sending my child on a trip alone. Emotionally it feels like this is my last work, while pouring everything I have gotten into this project."

Emotionally, then. Ah. Sakaguchi continues: "Never regret, but now "I'm enjoying"; furthermore, aiming towards completion. The sense of "this is it" relaxes my shoulders, [it's a] pleasant feeling to conduct an orchestra by the sense of my intuition."

Sounds like there might be another Sakaguchi game after all. Can you have another story after The Last Story though? That would be daft, like calling a game The Final Something and then hang on wait.
