The planned expansion pack for Sacred 2: Fallen Angel is still in development, according to a post on the Ascaron forums.
"Studio 2 (subsidiary company of Ascaron) has the licence for Sacred 2 and the devs will continue working at the add-on as they did before," wrote community manager 'Anca Adelina Finta'.
"In a nutshell, the add-on is not affected by anything and will come as planned."
Original Sacred 2 developer Ascaron filed for bankruptcy earlier this year. Kalypso Media subsequently picked up the rights to its assets.
"Kalypso and the other devs will do something different with the old licences they bought," confirmed AAF. "I really wish them good luck with that, they deserve it."
There's still no word on when we can expect to see the add-on released, or which platforms it will be available for. The Xbox 360 and PS3 version of Sacred 2 hit the shops a few weeks ago - read our review to find out all about it.
