Rock Band gets Nevermind DLC
Full-length album download.
Nirvana's "Nevermind" will be one of the albums made available for download as part of Rock Band's Xbox Live and PSN offerings.
That's according to a feature in GamePro, reported by Joystiq, which also says that one new album will be made available to download every week.
During E3, Harmonix and MTV announced the plan to offer album-length downloads, starting with The Who's "Who's Next", while musician Steve Van Zandt was picked to front an advisory board to help in music selection.
The game, which adds bass, drums and vocals to Guitar Hero-style button-matching, is currently down for release this Christmas on PS3 and Xbox 360, although Harmonix and the game's publisher EA have repeatedly distanced themselves from retail price and release date estimates.

Christ that Guitar Hero ad is shit... it's just the logo that disappears every so often and doesn't even fill the whole box

I would be more than happy to pay £3.00 for a full decent album if it meant new Guitar Hero type ( well it's Rock band now isn't it ) content that was actually worth buying.
PLUS I assume these will be the original versions of the albums and not the increasingly poor quality covers coming for the GH camp?
