Rock Band coming to iPhone News

The Rock Band series is set to make its debut on iPhone.

That's according to IGN. An official announcement is expected later today.

There's no word on how you play the game, though you can probably make a good guess, or which songs will be in it. However, it has been confirmed that Rock Band iPhone will feature licenced music, like the other instalments in the series.

Expect more news soon.

Well that's the one version of Rock Band I have no interest in at all. Unplugged was good though so they might work something out.

There's not much room along the edge of the screen for four fingers if they're doing guitar 'properly'.

I think they should go the whole hog and let multiple locally-networked players play all the parts. Drums would be easy enough, and it's even got a built-in microphone for the singing!

I cant see this working, there are some games that dont need to come out on the iphone, until i hear more I suspect this is one of them!

I love my iPhone and I love the Rock Band series, but somehow I feel like putting the two together isn't really going to work. I'll wait for more information though before I make a proper decision.

I don't get it.
I like rockband coz it makes me feel like i'm playing the music. these handheld versions just seem like money for moneys sake.
