Retailers talk Quake Wars console date News

Xbox 360 PlayStation 3 News by Robert Purchese

15 April, 2008

Retail sources close to Eurogamer have confirmed that the console versions of Enemy Territory: Quake Wars will be out on 30th May, despite Activision declining to comment.

The game launched last year on PC. It's an online shooter similar to Battlefield but set in the familiar Quake universe.

Rather surprisingly the console offerings are shaping up to be even better than their desktop counterpart, thanks to a careful conversion with some fresh and fancy features sprinkled on top.

Pop over to our Enemy Territory: Quake Wars Xbox 360 and PS3 preview to find out much more.

Or you can saunter over to our Enemy Territory: Quake Wars PC review from last year.

The choice really is yours.
