Actually I'd really like to play RE4 again with the Wii controls.

Did I just say that out loud?

    /feels dirty.

The graphics are exactly the same as the GameCube version.

The 'unique' controls will be the make or break feature as I haven't enjoyed any FPS (or Third Person) on the Wii so far and hopefully Capcom can show others how to do it.

It coud be great if they do a good job. Even though I've completed the cube version I'd look forward to playing it again on the wii (especially as there isn't a great deal of other interesting releases coming out anytime soon..)

I don't like the cross-hair at all, it's really ugly.

    Woo! Cant wait.

I loved it on the Cube but never had time to finish it.

Would be better to show the weapon's iron sights instead of that crosshair. Like in SWAT 3!

I played the original Cube game three and a half times over, but I still wanted to see the extra content someday. Now I can skip the PS2 version altogether, I can have the extra bits AND not have my eyes bleed. Yay!

Before anyone says anything, yes, the PS2 made this game fugly. Don't believe me, check out this page. Some of the videos of the water and lightning effects show it really well, and check out the lava bit especially:

dont tell me capcom are releasing this with no widescreen support, that would be mental.

I do believe they have announced "proper" widescreen for the Wii version. Not 100% sure though.

^lol guy, I don't own any new consoles just yet. Oops. ;3

You're working on assumptions, kiddo. I was only disappointed because if I'd ever wanted to play the extra stuff, I'd have to see the RE4 I knew and loved all cut up, and I'm not lying here. But if my comment annoyed one of the sony fanbots who cried so hard about Nintendo getting all the RE's, then that's great! (Oooh see the irony in that post? Haha!)

Why does it need to be called Wii edition? Surely we can work out it's on the Wii ourselves?
