Resi creator starts work on new project
Ex-Clover team finally assembled.
Platinum Games, the studio established by former Clover Studio staff, has revealed it is hard at work on a new project.
Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami aired the news on his blog (translated by IGN), announcing he will head up the team.
Little else is known about the game, other than Capcom will be making it.
Mikami's last project was God Hand on PS2, which arrived over one and a half years ago in Japan.
For now, his search for more staff to fill his team out with continues.
Clover Studios counts God Hand, Okami and Viewtiful Joe among its past catalogue. The team was dissolved in March 2007 before reforming as Seeds and later merging with ODD Incorporated to become Platinum Games.

If they're working with Capcom, couldn't we get a sequel to Okami?

The whole inter-studio collaboration thing in the Japanese videogame industry really confuses me. But in a good way.
