Register your interest in APB

If you want to hear first about the beta.

Realtime Worlds has taken the first baby step towards a beta test for its cops-and-robbers MMO, All Points Bulletin, by offering you a chance to register your interest in the game.

Signing up will bring updates to your email inbox on the progress of APB "and other Realtime Worlds products", including the all-important details of how to get involved in beta testing for the highly anticipated game.

Tease that it is, Realtime withheld the page until it had signed up 500 fans to APB's facebook page, which took less than 3 hours.

For more on the PC and console game, visit the APB gamepage.

    Hi guys,

I hope you viewed the recent release as the start of the flowing of information about APB, I appreciate a lot of you have been tracking this game for a long time and I can only thank you for your patience and continued support.

Whilst I can't give you any more specific info on the beta at this time, I did come over to give you one bit of information exclusive to you guys.

Everyone who is a member of APB-evolved as of the time and date of this post, is guaranteed beta access as soon as we reach a suitable stage.

For anyone who joins after this date don't be disheartened, there will be other chances to secure a beta slot in the future.

I hope this goes some way to showing you guys how much we appreciate your ongoing support.

*Ps, obviously minimum system specs will apply ;-)*

"Signing up will bring updates to your email inbox on the progress of APB "and other Realtime Worlds products""

Why should we sign up for their spam?

Fuck their beta access and fuck their marketeers. Just say no.

^that doesn´t make sense mate, as SPAM stands for unsolicited messages. If one signs up requesting those, it ceases to be "unsolicited".

Than again I´m not even english, so I might be wrong. Or, it can be for the fact I ditched the punk attitude for decade now.

Just give me another Crackdown, please.

Well I suppose you're right - strictly speaking it isn't spam.

But it may as well be. I dare say that if we were to fast forward 10 years, they wont be asking for just an email address, it''ll be your house keys and three of your teeth in a manilla envelope.

I'm sorry. I just find it all a bit nefarious. I don't know what's wrong with me.

Couldn't care less about the beta, I don't have time to test your game for you, but when you have a proper working retail game, guys, call me and we'll do something.

    @YourMessageHere

Fair enough, beta's aren't for everyone - but your tone makes it sound like it's an evil thing - if people didn't beta test these games, you wouldn't get polished games (not in every case by all means, but you know what I mean).

Is it PC only now then ??
