Any chance of a retail release? This and Soviet Assault for WiC are fine ideas and all that but people who don't want to or aren't able to buy titles online are left out in the cold (... again).

End of March? EA's online store and Direct2Drive say 12-13th of March - this week.

I must admit I'd prefer a retail release too.

I was hoping for an expansion pack with Yuri...

Oh, and will Uprising be available on Steam, I don't want to have to use EA's downloader?

It will probably be on Steam in the UK eventually but not just yet as EA and Steam don't seem to be able to get a deal done in time.

"Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 - Uprising" - good God! Could that game title be any longer than that?!

Odd, one of the other Red Alert guys was just talking about having DLC available around the launch of the PS3 version.

I wouldn't say the cinematics overshadow the gameplay - they complement it perfectly.

"It's easy to maintain levity in a game where armoured warbears can parachute behind enemy lines from an amphibious man-cannon."

Sums up why I like this daft franchise ... would make a great film in its own right.

Wish I had bought the PC version now tho.
