Red Alert 3 PC demo now available

Weighs in at a hefty 1.8GB.

A new demo for the PC version of Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 is now available to download.

You can get it from Filefront. It weighs in at 1.82GB and has already been downloaded over a thousand times, statfans.

As you're probably aware, Red Alert 3 is the latest instalment in EA's hit real-time strategy series. It stars the lovely Gemma Atkinson and Tim Curry, who is also very nice. You can find out what happened when we met them by checking out the relevant feature. Or find out, you know, what we actually thought about the game by reading the review.

Red Alert 3 is out now for PC and Xbox 360, with a PS3 version likely to follow next year.

I tried the demo this morning and it seems pretty decent... same old tried and tested Command & Conquer gameplay with some impressive quality but delightfully cheesy HD videos (Tim Curry is just so awesome!) and horredously garish menus. I love C&C 3 but this game feels too similar to warrant buying at full price. Besides the demo is pretty generous in terms of content so I don't feel the need to rush out and buy it anyway. :D

Everything is just to big and zoomed in. It seems like even at high resolutions everything is massive and you cannot get much on screen.

They need to allow zooming like supreme commander, its just sucks to much as it is now.

Too bad, Co-op could have made this interesting.
