Rayman Raving Rabbids 2

Sequel annouced for Wii, DS.

Ubisoft has revealed that more mini-game madness is on its way to Wii and DS in Rayman Raving Rabbids 2.

The publisher announced the title at its Ubidays conference, swamping the stage with costumed Rabbids in a sort of Eurovision-esque bonanza.

It's allegedly funnier than the original, has more mini-games to sink your teeth into, and sees you repel the bunnies' plans to invade planet Earth. It's due for release in the fourth quarter of 2007.

Rayman Raving Rabbids was one of the strongest games in the early Wii line-up, before it made its way to almost every other platform. It's made up of numerous mini-games featuring oversized rabbits who upstage Rayman at every turn. Pop over to our review for a closer inspection.

I hope they make the multiplayer part of the game better than the original.

Without the long load times this time please...

Come on, it's not as if it needed to load a lot for each game is it?

While they do that, they could also correct the bugs in the PC version. A lot of people have been waiting for half a year to play the game they bought!. Google jade_enr. You'll see.

If Ubi expects us to give them more money after that abysmal support, they can go F themselves.

I hope they make the multi-player work this time! I don't know if it's just my copy of the game, but it doesn't let me play the FPS levels in multiplayer keeps asking for more controllers to be connected even though all four Wiimotes are on and connected!

The FPS levels I thought were single player only.

I hope this time round they will do some PROPER QA so some stages aren't mostly bust as they don't detect the wiimote movement properly.

I loved the first game. On of my top 5 games of 06....Loved it!

The first one, whilst genuinely funny, was a pile of gash. Minigames need to be in quick succession, whilst decent to boot. Getting whiplash from the nunchuk cord is not what I call fun. WarioWare this aint :[
