Ratchet & Clank: SM coming in March

PS2 port confirmed for Europe.

Sony has confirmed to Eurogamer that a PS2 version of PSP title Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters is coming to Europe this spring.

Rumours of the port have been knocking around for a while now, but the first official word came only recently in the form of a PlayStation Underground email. As reported by Shacknews, the email stated Size Matters PS2 will be released in North America this March.

Eurogamer contacted Sony Europe to find out what the deal will be over here and he told us, "Yes, Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters will be released on the PS2 in the UK."

There's not too long to wait, either. "We are currently tracking a late March release," the spokesperson said.

In the meantime, why not read our review of the PSP game to find out why Size Matters is worth looking forward to?

I wonder if this will be a GTA LCS/VCS scenario where the PS2 version sports slightly better controls but they drop the multiplayer

I for one do not wish to see Ratchet & Clank in SM gear.

Great news, bringt it on. I gave up on this on the PSP because of the control scheme, should be nice to have another go with a proper controller.

Anything that helps to keep the great PS2 going and increase longevity is welcome.

The PS2 deserves the support of gamers/owners and the development community for more years to come and should not be just tossed aside, to make way for marketing flawed and extortionately priced PS3.

Having this and other notables this year is a good boost for the mega-selling console.

The PS2 version will surely control better with two extra shoulder buttons and a second stick.

Might pick this up, although I never really played the 3rd numbered game in the series so that would probably be a meatier game.
