I've a feeling that SEGA Rally will be brilliant and probably be the game that many were expecting DiRT to be in the first place, i.e. arcadey but fun. For me though, DiRT is awesome, really addictive and very pretty (if I ignore the v-sync tearing) but SEGA Rally seems to be a more ambitious game to me, even if it's only down to the way the track deforms as you race. Could be amazing... definitely looking forward to trying the demo...

God darnit Eurogamer...

"It wasn't all talk of demos, dates and cross-dressing though"

Synopsis of crossdressing related talks please!

Are you doing this on purpose to check who actually reads reviews/news? ;)

As the PSP version is to be a platform dedicated version, rather than a TDU style scaled down port, it seems unlikely they'll be able to have a merge data system like they had in Outrun 2006 Coast to Coast. Shame, as that was a bloody handy way to progress through the game.

Agreed Hughes.

I'd be nowhere near as far through Outrun2006 if it wasn't for the fact that I have the odd race at the strangest moments. On a plane, in airports, the break room at work, in bed on holiday while drunk...

Nowadays it takes me forever to finish games - mostly because I very rarely turn on the PS2, but have a massive number of 8-9/10 games.

THE reason I bought a PSP.

Bring on God Of War - I still haven't even finished the PS2 game. I'll get round to it whenever.

If you fancy shouting at each other over which console is the same as each other, head over to the interview in gamesindustry.biz.

Fixed.

C'mon EG. It's not like there isn't enough platform idiocy around here without you stirring it up. Headline "SEGA Rally Dev says Both Platforms Really Good - 360 Easier, PS3 Harder but Rewarding" not going to generate as many hits? "XBL excellent based on existing experience, PSN learning fast and catching up" no good? But would make EG comments pages a nicer place to be, which is fading fast.
