I finished this last night, really really enjoyable. What did I enjoy most about it?

People have alread mentioned the graphics; OK, so they're lo-tech, but come one, they are atmospheric and in a game like this, that's all that counts. I mean, who played Ico and didn't spend at least five minutes in every outdoor location looking around, trying to view places they'd already been to from different angles? Or looking at some feature of the castle and wondering just what the hell it was for? Or why the damn thing was built in the first place?

Others have also mentioned the ending, which I thought was really sweet. But what I really liked was the exposition at the end. From the moment I read the backstory in the manual, all through the intro and for most of the game I was wondering why Ico was put in the castle and why Yorda was held captive. And sure enough, towards the end, you realise just what Ico's - and his forebears - part in the castle history was to be.

Brilliant.

Hey is it me, or is this one of the only games where you get the source code on the DVD? On the Australian version (at least) you get "SRCFILE.TXT" with a assembly dump. Why???

First!!!

I finally got around to playing Ico a few weeks ago. Certainly one of the most unique gaming experiences I've encountered.
