Why isn't an 8/10 enough to make you buy it?
Because, old boy, it costs something in the region of 45 quid. I know, I rely too much on scores, but I've been reading computer magazines since the age of seven, and being entirely reliant on journalists is a tough habit to kick. With regards to taking it back, understandably because you don't know me, brutal, you've neglected to factor in the fact that I'm a) Extremely lazy and b) Extremely disorganized and forgetful. I just know I'd end up missing the 10 day marker. |

The XBox version is pretty good. The graphics are not the best, but more than adequate.
I don't know if this happens with the PC version but when you go and heal one of your 'dead' men the stupid bastard stands up - or may just be returning to their previous state. Which is not too good if the tank that shot the first one is still about. Also the computer AI is far better at spotting the enemy than me. The rest of the squad start firing and kill the enemy before they appear on the screen Apart from that, its a pretty good game - squad based combat lite edition.

I heard the co-op was extremely good in the Xbox version, and I absolutely love co-op play. I'm getting this game for that alone.

The Co-op mode is good - I did not even know that it existed - I must RTFM in future and pay more attention to the main menu. It speeds up missions quite a bit as you can perform more than one task at a time.
The only downside is that there does not seem to be anyway to choose which 2 of the 4 characters you are in control of in 2 player games. |
