Quake Wars dated News

PC Xbox 360 PlayStation 3
News by Robert Purchese

3 August, 2007

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars will be released across the US on 2nd October.

The news spouted just moments ago from id Software boss Todd Hollenshead, who took to the stage at QuakeCon 2007 in Texas to address the crowds.

John Carmack is expected to bathe in the limelight within the next hour or so, where he will announce his fancy new game, which will play on the strengths of the Quake and Doom developer.

Quake Wars is just one of the many games on show at the event, and we'll be bringing you our thoughts of the multiplayer online shooter as soon as humanly possible. Well, I say we - it's Tom that will be doing all the work.

Keep those eyes peeled.

Played the beta, totally not impressed. More solid and smooth than Battlefield 2, but lacks the great feel and pitch-perfect gameplay of that game. Dissapointing.

The 2nd beta of this is shocking. Too glitchy, laggy, wooden and just plain wrong.
Massive disappointment.
