Q3A and Doom II XBLA at QuakeCon
Both playable, so both out soon hopefully.
The long-awaited Xbox Live Arcade port of Quake III Arena - Quake Arena Arcade - is on show at QuakeCon in playable form, suggesting an impending release.
Reports from the Dallas show also bring news of a Nerve Software-authored XBLA port of Doom II. It too can be played at the show, which suggests it's not far off either.
id Software has previously collaborated with Nerve on the XBLA release of the first Doom game, which came out around three years ago and recaptured our hearts.
Quake Arena Arcade, meanwhile, was announced at QuakeCon two years ago and is another collaboration - between id and Pi Studios.

Then again I don't really care about Q3a; Doom II XBLA on the other hand will be instantly purchased and I will probably take the next day off so I can play the whole night long. Something I haven't done for a few years now but Doom II should be worth it.
By the way: Wolfenstein is not available in my country (Switzerland) for whatever reason; I really hope it's not because of the Swastikas and Nazis but if it is I sure as hell hope that Doom II won't suffer the same fate because of the two Wolf3d bonus levels.
