Puzzle Quest out on PC News

PC News by Tom Bramwell

11 October, 2007

A PC version of Puzzle Quest is now available to buy from digital distributor GamersGate.

Priced EUR 19.99, the PC version is much the same as the Xbox Live Arcade version released on Wednesday for 1200 Microsoft points.

As everyone knows by now because we keep saying so, Puzzle Quest is a mix of puzzle and RPG elements - harnessing the addictive qualities of Bejeweled to fuel a compulsive new RPG battle system.

Watch out for a review of the XBLA version later today (update - now, in fact), and if you still haven't played it in any form, be sure to give the demo version a go - either on Xbox Live itself or by grabbing the previously released PC demo.

I bought and downloaded it yesterday. Stayed up until 02.30 in the morning playing it.

It's awesome.

Great game, but I find it a little random at times, you ca do everything in your power to defeat a foe, and then an unfortunate cascade of gems can totally ruin your plans.

Still playing it though!
