Puzzle Quest: Galactrix gets release date News • News • Eurogamer.net

It's out on PC and DS next month.

D3Publisher has told Eurogamer that Puzzle Quest: Galactrix will be released for PC and DS next month.

It is of course a sequel to the original Puzzle Quest, which involved collecting gems, firing weapons and exploding mines, that sort of thing. The sort of thing which can prove highly addictive, as Tom found out.

The new game has a sci-fi theme, as you may just have guessed. A Flash demo is already available.

Puzzle Quest: Galactrix will be out on PC and DS on 13th March. It will also be released via Xbox Live and PSN, but D3Publisher has yet to confirm dates for those versions.

Except, of course, that the original Puzzle Quest didn't involve firing weapons and exploding mines at all.

Thanks for the link. I just spent half an hour with the demo and it certainly looks like I'm gonna get hooked on this game - I also prefer the sci-fi theme to fantasy, and the new diagonal board is pretty neat as well.

I would prefer to get the PSN version, but if it's set to arrive several months from now I'll probably just get the PC version.
