A Puzzle Quest 2: Mage Trainer demo has appeared on Facebook.

This offers a glimpse of the gameplay from the sequel heading to Xbox 360 and DS sometime this spring.

"You are a young mage apprentice," begins the Facebook description. "Experience Puzzle Quest's combination of gem-matching and spells. Defeat a sampling of Puzzle Quest 2's goblins, rat swarms, and villains as you train to become a Puzzle Quest hero or heroine."

There you have it: 'rat-puzzling'.
