Make it a bit easier, chaps, ok? People might buy this one if it's actually fun to play.

really? I thought it was pretty good. I used to feed it through my surround sound.. Admitadly defeats the handheld point, but the music and effects from the psp is really good through a proper audio centre.

The game was actiony, fast-pased and fun.. A lot of other games can't claim that...

It was silly hard though. To the point of being a real chore. Still, if they can tweak the difficulty level it'll be great.

Pursuit Force was good but the spike in difficulty along with not much variety between each mission and what seemed impossible time limits ultimately made me sell the game without completing it.

If they included a GTA sandbox with random perks ala True Crime i'd definately purchase the next one.

One of the only PSP games I played to completion. It was a man's game that I thought was brimming with variety - so many different missions, and some really intriguing ones too. The homage to the movie Speed was particularly amusing. I also enjoyed the graphical style - arcadey and cartoony, kind of like Chase HQ and games of that era. I thought the Eurogamer review was rather harsh and would consider it a minor classic for the PSP.

I believe the US version was made easier for the gaming pussies out there ;) Might be worth picking that up cheap on eBay if the core gameplay appeals (and it should).

With regards the news piece, the original Pursuit Force had the Justice Meter too - it's nothing new. Using it at just the right time was the key to topping up your energy bar and thus remaining alive - essential on some of the rock hard "on foot" missions and also for those stages where you had to escape from pursuing criminals. A fully topped-up Justice Meter was also required for those mega-cool mid-air bullet time attacks as you leapt from one car to another :)

Looking forward to this sequel then, definitely.
