Punch Out, Samurai Warriors coming to Wii News

Wii News by Ellie Gibson

2 October, 2008

Nintendo has announced a raft of titles for the Wii, including a new Punch Out game.

Koei's Samurai Warriors series is also coming to the console - specifically in the form of Sangoku Musou 3. So are Namco-Bandai's "Tales of" RPGs.

Sin and Punishment 2, the sequel to the N64 on-rails shooter, has been confirmed as being in development, along with a sequel to Another Code.

There's good news for retro fans, too: Nintendo plans to re-release classic GameCube titles, beginning with Pikmin.

All this news comes from Nintendo's autumn press conference, where the company also unveiled a new model of DS.

DB2k, which franchise were you referring to?

In regards to the article, I am literally excited about the Sin & Punishment 2 news. I am currently playing the first game on the Virtual Console. Why Nintendo didn't release this fantastic game in the UK during the N64 era I shall never know.

At last, a proper Warriors game on Wii. I like this news indeed, though my scrawny nerd arms will most likely fall off with all the sword waving action.
