PSP to get Monster Hunter spin-off News

PSP News by Ellie Gibson

26 October, 2009

Capcom has announced a new spin-off Monster Hunter game for PSP.

According to Famitsu (as translated by Andriasang), the game will star the famous Monster Hunter cats, or airu as they're known.

It's titled Monhan Nikki Poka Poka Airu Mura, which translates as Monster Hunter Diary Poka Poka Airu Village.

You can watch a video of the game being unveiled over on the GGFTW forum.

This fluff-looking thing should have gone to Wii, and Tri should have gone to PSP.

But Tri will come out on PSP one day in the future.

I actually thought this would be a DS game before it was announced. Well, either way I'm pleased.

Don't think this will work, the cats are a comical note - if they become the focus, things will get tricky. Some good storytelling/characterisation will be needed, or we'll be seeing dead Prinnies indeed.
