Slight delay.

Those of you poking around PlayStation Network this morning looking for WarHawk will have to zip yourselves back up again, because it won't be there for another 48 hours.

That's according to a Sony message relayed by ThreeSpeech, which says that the downloadable version will arrive on Thursday 30th August instead.

As you already know, Incog's multiplayer blend of flying, driving and general gunning will cost GBP 19.99 on PSN, with a boxed Blu-ray version with extra video content, game manual and Bluetooth headset due to retail for GBP 39.99 when it launches on 21st September.

I'm not sure which one to get. If I get the boxed version, I get a headset, but if I got the download, I could play a game on disc, then play WarHawk without having to get up and change the disc. Hmmm.

Warhawk through digital distribution and never having to get off my arse to change the disc and now when everyone is currently a newb, or wait a whole month for retail when everyone will pwn me, but i'll finally get a bluetooth headset and be able to physically hold and sell the Warhawk disc if I want to.

Damn it.

In the US the boxed version with headset is out alongside the PSN release today. I've ordered that version so i get the best of both worlds (Warhawk this week, and a disc and headset).

That conflicts with other info that's out there saying that you can do LAN play using just the one disc!!!!!!!

Not to mention that I'm sure Sony said that you could use your 5 downloads of content to put stuff on other peoples PS3s

well, this is hard to decide, I'm interested in the Blue-Ray version and the extras, and a second headset would be perfekt, so I could go online splitscreen in the future with headsets.............................But then again i have no nerv to wait until September so the only solution would be to buy them both, first PSN version and then the box..........................but that would somehow be stupid........................then again I have done dumber purchasing actions in my game history.....................I'll have to think about this intensive for the next two days

/goes and uses all left braincells.

edit: Point number 8 is, if I don't download, then everyone can train the shit out of this game and I will come in at a beginner losing my ass..................

you could just find yourself a cheap 20quid Blutooth head set or get a copy of Socom from gamestation with the USB headset for �3.50 as a second headset

I was thinking about buying a bluetooth headset anyways, but with this ofefr i figured it would be a good combo, plus I expect the headset to be good quality.
USB not a option, I somehow always get the short ones when I buy one
well thanks for the imput, which was good, I will for sure download the PSN Version in 48 hours and then wait and see what the people write about the box version. If it offers a lot more stuff and a headset it could be worth it, if not, I just purchase a cheap headset and skip the box version.

yes im downloading it on thursday because i got a headset.and i cant wait till 21st of september for the blu-ray version but i will get the blu-ray version when it comes out because i got two accounts on the ps3.the download version only works on one account and im not downloading it twice..
