PSN: Siren, Gangs of London PSP

Plus echochrome demo, GH3 pack.

Sony has updated the PlayStation Network store with Siren: Blood Curse (albeit with slightly rejigged pricing, Gangs of London for PSP and an echochrome demo.

Gangs of London costs GBP 14.99. You may remember it as a fairly crap cockney strategy game with some surprisingly good pub games thrown in. If you buy it on PS3 you can pipe it to your PSP, or you could buy on the PSP Store for PC instead and do it that way.

You can also buy the Virtuoso Track Pack for Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock on PS3 today, which costs GBP 3.99.

Otherwise, it's the usual mix of trailers and wallpapers. In the first column there's some video of PixelJunk Eden and something called Linger in Shadows ("a surreal interactive art experience", we're reminded - a bit like the PSN sign-up process perhaps) and some footage of Siren: Blood Curse characters and the village it's set in, Hanuda, while fans of wallpaper can go mad with red and black PixelJunk Eden efforts.

There's also the latest stage of Sony's "Movement" series, where a pair of full-grown men travel around Europe hunting down music acts. This is popular with yoof, so back off grandpa.

Really bloody rich of Sony to release a demo AFTER the full game! Echochrome was the last one I bought that way.

    Pricks.

My sentiments exactly. I try my damnedest not to be a fanboy, but fucking hell, thats desperate.

If you had to fill your quota for badmouthing Sony there were far less tenuous ways of doing it.

Just cut to the chase and end every piece with 'pslol'.

    Well, yes actually.

I don't mind it if there's some Sony exec goofing off, or Sony pulls another stupid stunt, even if MS kicks Sony's ass with FFXIII. I like a bit of a laugh

This is just stupid, seeing as 360s sign up isn't that much easier. Hell, it even kicked me off the first time. Cheap shots.

Let's be specific here: it's SCEE not Sony. Note that Elefunk was release on the European PS Store last week but despite the US also getting a demo version, we've yet to see it over here. Stupid really. What's SCEE's excuse for that I wonder?

    "What's SCEE's excuse for that I wonder?"

Because they hate you, SCEE hate Europe etc etc! Oh sorry, for a minute then I thought I was on the official Playstation forums...hehe.

    @Darrren

Well, if everyone stops buying this without demo's we'll see em appearing sooner I guess. I'll be damned if I'm ever buying any small online crap without sampling it first.

I don't mind Gangs of London, especially it's mini-games, but if you've got a game where he best parts are the distractions from the main story, you've gone wrong somewhere.

No excuse really. Sod It I set up a US account today and will enjoy demos of Elephunk and Siren thank to our yank friends. I notice they got a few better PS1 games on there to.

SCEE you truly are a joke, Kaz stop the PR bull and spring clean in SCEE, something needs to be done and that would be more effective than 1,000 pr spun interviews.....

It IS really irritating when demos and the suchlike get released on the American store sometimes weeks in advance of us lowly Europeans getting them. If only there was some way we could download from the US then we needn't complain about it. Damn the internet and it's impossible walls!

I tell you what IS really irritating. The US PSN store has a 'summer sale' on with cheaper prices on some of the early PSN games like Pain and that poker game. EU PSN? Nothing. What exactly is their excuse for that then? All the games in the US 'sale' are already available on the EU PSN shop, they just can't be arsed to give us the same deal. This really is something EG or the like should be asking Sony about..

In regards to sales etc, if SCEA choose to do that's their choice, there is no cross store communications between SCEA, SCEE and SCEJ.
