I want a G-Police update on PS3 PLEASE!!!!!

+ 1 for Bad's comment. I especially want a sequel since I actually cared about the plot and the second game ended on a cliffhanger.

Wipeout HD is great and all, but Sony should realise that their Psygnosis back-catalogue is fucking immense, and get around to updating their series and bringing the originals to PSN, pronto.

Some of those scores are higher than I expected, especially the fishing game.

Now how about reviewing the Solo expansion for Super Stardust HD? It's terrific DLC for one of the best games on PSN, and the more attention it gets the better.

The Clint Eastwood impression of the guy playing Judge Dredd is so awful that it's actually quite brilliant.

I want G-Police and Colony Wars updates on any platform please.

And by updates I don't mean re-inventions, just the original games brought upto date in the graphics and controls departments.

It wasn't borked when I played it, although the disc-swapping element was perhaps a bit flaky.

I can only judge it against other fishing games, and it's a good, solid fishing game for £3.49. It's not exactly a crowded genre, and it seems unfair to mark it down simply for being of limited interest.

I agree with Ceatlan, if they did do another one no messing with the handling of the Havoc, and keep the free-look around the cockpit.

If it 'ain't broke don't fix it :)

is there proper analogue control on the PSP firmware yet? At last check, its still just mapping the dpad to the left stick.

I got g-police from PSN ages ago, did it just come out here or is EG late?

The other great thing about G-Police is you can turn the draw distance up in the in-game options without worrying about the framerate any more.

Yay, Bishi Bashi!
I still own the boxed copy from the PS1 days, because I just can't bear to part with it! Going to download this off PSN without a doubt.

Nice collection there, even the fishing is a tempter for 3 quid!

Dan could you please do all us old PSOne gamers a big favour and tell Sony that we'd gladly pay for updated versions of Colony Wars and GPolice. I'd also happily stump up for a remade Twisted Metal Black, that's perfect for the PSN. Free Radical thinking of remaking Timesplitters2 is great but Sony have some gems of their own ripe for updating, make it so.

I fished out both G-Police and Colony Wars the other day, and both are still utterly brilliant to play.

Amazingly, and thankfully, G-Police is still an impressive game eleven years after it first hovered into view.

One of the Killzone guys said remaking G-Police for the PS3 was his big dream project, and apparently it was a dream that was going to come true, as he left the Killzone team somewhere last year for this, didn't he?

Also, I second the Super Stardust comment. I liked the original, but now I totally love it. It's so much better! Endless mode especially is a thing of beauty that makes the original game look bleak and empty in comparison, and the time trial modes are also very nice. And some people may finally get to see the final planet for the first time, thanks to the inclusion of an Easy mode. ;)

Bomber run also had me intrigued for quite a while, it's almost a puzzle game. The only thing that hasn't fully clicked with me yet is survival ... those balls that never go away get a little boring. But it's certainly adding something new again, at least.

Awesome game. If the Multiplayer add-on will be nearly as good, then this game will be perfect + 1.

G-Police! Oh blimey, that inevitable PS3 purchase just keeps getting closer...

Truely. Westwood's take on Bladerunner is still the best movie tie in game i've played.

Man I love G-Police. Another game in the series would be an excellent idea.
Some of the later missions were so tough! But I persevered, and it was so worth it.

I bought C&C for the PSN the other day. Great fun. Some of the best video game music going too.
It seems to be a bit faster than when I played it on the PS1... which can only be a good thing, as I remember it being too slow.

I agree Sony should be releasing more classics, and treating us the same way as the US and Japan PSN.
Do you not value your customers in the UK as much Sony? Because that's really how it's looking right now.

Interesting to hear that about Psygnosis and the G-Police control. When I tried WipeOut 1 a year or so ago I was similarly amazed by how well the game controlled with a crusty old d-pad. It was simply a brilliant job. They mastered that hardware awfully quick.

Don't know about you, but as great as westwood were, in my opinion EA's greatest crime are Origin. Ultima VII is, like, the best thing ever.
