PSN update: bundles of DLC on offer
Plus: Red Faction, UFC demos.
There's lots to buy on the PlayStation Store this week, plus free samples of Red Faction Guerrilla UFC 2009 Undisputed to try.
Episode two of Penny Arcade Adventures finally shows up but, being non-essential, will need careful consideration before purchase. I've heard that one before. The excellent Exit turns digital-download for PSP, which also receives a Chessmaster game and a couple of PSone oldies.
Saints Row 2 leads the additional content charge with Ultor Exposed (we've just published our review), but there's DLC offered for Godfather II, HAWX, Midnight Club: LA, SmackDown 2009 and Mahjong Tales as well. Plus, LittleBigPlanet gets another dose of the planned April content.
And, of course, there's plenty for Rock Band and Guitar Hero World Tour.
Thanks, Joystiq.

Would be an interesting remake, especially the strange vs. mode if it was put online.

Been waiting for this and i’m glad to say it delivers very nicely!
Amazing graphics and animation, realistic movements too, the sweat on the fighters are so real, more so than Fight Night series.
Loving the ringside commentary and replay highlights, it’s really a brutal and intense atmosphere when you get them stunned and you gear up for a knockout! I managed to get different knockouts and tko’s in the last two matches. Will put it into higher difficulty setting and trying different things.
The game runs fast and smooth, the moves are responsive and there is a lot to learn in the game, its got a deep fighting system, great stuff!
Was thinking of getting Fight Night 4 but it’s going to feel pretty limited when compared to this beauty!

@ EG/Rob : thanks for starting up listing the new music game tracks again
Anyway, The Red Faction demo looks interesting. I'm hoping for Crackdown on Mars with a reasonably decent story.

I was going to download both the UFC 09 and Red Faction demos from the 360 Marketplace until I remembered that I'd cancelled my Gold subscription (which was long overdue). Sure I only have to wait a few days before I can download them but I think it sucks that Microsoft limit what is effectively a promotional tool (i.e. advert) in order to get people to pay for a Gold subscription. These are FREE demos, Microsoft!!!

The console versions look a bit shonky to me and the disgraceful amount of tearing (almost 50% according to Digital Foundry) is just typical Volition. I'm half expecting the game to ship with glitches and bugs galore like Saints Row 2. It does look fun though but I'm holding out for the (hopefully) superior PC version.

It's very insulting, and probably illegal to insinuate such claims.

"Future Cop LAPD was a brilliant but underrated game.
Would be an interesting remake, especially the strange vs. mode if it was put online."
Totally agree, I was really disappointed that there was never a sequel. Was there even anything even particularly similar to it apart from the preceding Strike games? If there was a remake, it's sorely in need of some save points.
