PSN: Bishi Bashi, C&C, flOw, COD4 pack News
News by Tom Bramwell
No sign of the Americans' echochrome demo on the PAL PlayStation Store this week, but instead there's Bishi Bashi Special and Command & Conquer PSone downloads, full releases for flOw PSP and the Call of Duty 4 Variety Map Pack, and even a couple of demos.
Bishi Bashi Special is of course a mini-game compilation from a billion years ago and costs GBP 3.49 / EUR 4.99, which is the same amount you're expected to pay for the PSone version of Command & Conquer. Both should work on PS3 and PSP.
Speaking of the latter, the PSP-compatible version of flOw - the previously PS3-only float-around-in-a-petri-dish-being-arty-'em-up - costs GBP 4.99 / EUR 7.99, but PSP owners can get the God of War: Chains of Olympus demo for free. PS3 owners, meanwhile, get access to a Rocketmen: Axis of Evil demo.
But the main thing, as promised, is the Call of Duty 4 Variety Map Pack, which includes Killhouse, Creek, Chinatown and Broadcast maps and costs GBP 6.99 / EUR 9.99. Broadcast is based on the TV station level from the single-player game, but we can't remember what the others are, apart from Chinatown, which is respectable. Politicians, ugly buildings, and whores all get respectable if they last long enough. [Forget it, readers. It's Chinatown. - Ed]
Elsewhere there is a Metal Gear Solid 4 "Sneak Out" PS3 theme, wallpapers for Dark Sector (one) and MotorStorm (seven), and trailers for Resistance 2 (the old one), Warhawk Operation: Broken Mirror, Viking: Battle for Asgard (two) and TimeShift (three). Take it all.
