PS Home gets Red Bull Flugtag

Launch wacky fliers into the sky.

Red Bull is adding a couple of new spaces to PlayStation Home today in the shape of a Flugtag mini-game and a boardwalk art gallery.

Flugtag is the weird and wonderful sport of launching inventions into the sky to see if they fly. There will be five creative creations to pick from and a 30-foot high platform to launch them from.

In addition to the new Red Bull content, Home's Ligne Roset store will get a Facett range or furniture that has footstools and armchairs and things. The V-Store also welcomes some trendy new duds.

Plus, the European PlayStation blog tells us there's "definitely" some Assassin's Creed II Home content on the way.

When PS Home ramps up, it'll be the corporations that name everything, the IBM Stellar Sphere, the Microsoft Galaxy, Planet Starbucks.

    A decade of awesomeness! :D

I would be on more often if that was the case.

LOL, I completely forgot about Home.

    God, what a waste.

There's so much they could do with something like this and they keep pissing it away in the wind.

Home is not intended for everyone but certainly whenever I go on there, albeit infrequently, there are a fair few people on it. It provides a good environment to meet new people from different cultures, then go shoot them in Killzone 2, or whatever.

i get marked up then down. didn't realize people were so touchy about Home. Logged on once or twice then never went back. Is it worth a visit?

What they should be looking into is fixing error: 8002A231

I've had it... what is this shit? god damn Sony.
  • chessboxer #11 2 years ago

Apparently that error code represents a banned or suspended account.
  • Retroid #12 2 years ago

I get marked down for saying they could make it better?

    O_o

I just got a PS3 yesterday and popped into Home. I kept running in circles, terrified that someone was going to corner me into some inane conversation. >:-|

Sony have publicly stated that Home is no longer a priority which means that they will support it, but as far as creating new content, it will be left to the third parties. If they lose interest I think Sony will quietly let it die.

    @chessboxer

nope. just a trophy sync error... which sucks.

I think some people need to learn to tell the difference between saying something is disappointing and someone attacking a product.

    Seriously.

I really liked the idea of Home, having my own virtual apartment with virtual models and the like to play about with, all of that. I begged to get onto the beta. Ever since then it's been a disappointment for me :(

I just cannot understand why you would invest time in Home. Seriously, what's there to do? You have all these lame mini-games, long loading times, annoying people, fake chicks etc. etc. And besides, all those mini-games are full all the time so you have virtual WAITING QUEUES. That's just ridiculous.

Home has so much potential, but it's growing to be a huge (and expensive) failure. Why would you spend time in Home while you could actually be playing video games?
