The martyrs really are shooting into their own ranks over this Home thing...

I like the poker in the EA Arena area because I actually like poker. So technically I have a free poker game and its better than playing against a CPU opponent.

But you can download a free poker game from a gazillion sites (I like the Betsson applet for instance) which will have more and stronger opponents to hone your skills against. No need to eat up 3 gigs of previous PS3 HD space (unless you have upgraded) and having to walk to the bloody tables as if that adds anything to the game.

Don't worry about the fantards, Santino.

Leave them to their Sony reacharound circlewank.

Let me ask you guys something, most of you own only the 360, so you have an innate fear of losing out on good games because of them not being on your console - I get that. But why do you feel the need to slate an application on a rival Console that is not even a game? Do you hate Sony that much? Because Microsoft is not Mahatma Gandhi either.

Personally i have enjoyed 'HOME' seeing as i do not go online very often, i had more fun in the few hours with home than i did with LIVE within context. Although i did notice that there were not so many people using Home. Overall as a free service it was very enjoyable and that's what matters to me.

with home, i got bored before i'd even really given it a go.. just didnt have (dunno how to explain it)

i dont get what is hard to understand about the fact that i simply havent updated my profile for ages?

for instance, right now the only 360 games i actually own are virtua fighter 5, pgr4, and ninja gaiden 2. Like i said the console is easily my least used system, and i actually own more ps3 and wii games, and more pc games than all thanks to steam mostly.

I do find it funny that i have been called a 360 fanboy though, as i find it rather ironic considering my general lack of interest in the system. And i have trouble understanding how all of this started because of how awful i found Home to be. I mean, i enjoy playing games, i like my playstation, but come one, i'm allowed to not like Home and i'm sure as hell not the only person!

edit: there, updated my list as much as i can be bothered right now if it makes you happy.

Could be. What caused me to doubt you is that you didn't have a single PS3 game in your profile while claiming that you "prefer" the PS3.

And yes - if your reasons to dislike Home are valid from your perspective and, most importantly, not related to Console preference, then I don't have any beef with you. If however you are one of those 360 fanboys on EG (and you know that EG is full of people like these) who frequent the PS3 news JUST to slate anything to do with Sony and the PS3, then it would be hard for me to show any empathy for your viewpoint.

When you first posted, your profile shouted non-PS3 owner, and as there was no way for me to know for sure whether you were telling the truth, you will forgive me if I doubted your claim. If you are telling the truth however, you have my apologies.

Off-topic here, but since you have seen fit to mark me as a PS3 fanboy (even though I don't go around on 360 articles unnecessarily criticizing them, at least, not without providing my reasons - you are welcome to rummage through my posting history if you wish), did you love the 360 NXE update. With avatars, no less! Those avatars were so well thought-out, perfectly implemented and oh-so-useful, weren't they?

I tried the Beta, wasn't really smitten by it although it has this Zen-like quality about it. If Home suddenly had a soundtrack chanting "All is Well" over and over I wouldn't have noticed it. It did little else to me, though. If the pace is picking up for Sony, great for them. I might take another look again once Home has more interesting features from a gamer's perspective - the new additions up to this points aren't that great in number.

I'd love for this to become a useful, seamlessly integrated service. They should have thought of that when they were spec'ing the PS3's main memory.
