I like the hoodie-meets-Alien stylings of the protagonist.

Hug THAT, Cameron.

"what was once edgy and exciting is now dull. It's like when Madonna started doing krump in her videos, or Mr T started selling Snickers, or Riverdance appeared on Eurovision."

Err was any of that ever 'edgy and exciting'? Riveredance??? wtf?

Anyway, any chance of some REAL screenshots not just concept art/renders? I mean you were shown a demo but the shots in this article a blatantly not the real thing.

As long as they don't colour "Alex" green and palm it off as an Incredible Hulk movie tie-in, I'm pre-ordering this one NOW!

Sounds extremely promising. I just hope that the vision is realised in the actual game - to get from '20% complete' to 'out next summer' sounds like a fairly tall order...

Never mind the game - what all this about "an original brand set in New York"?

Take the suit off and walk away before it's too late.

Although, the game still in a early development stage, it sounds extremely promising.

Looking forward to it later next year.

It sounds like what Crackdown set out to achieve, though it fell at the last hurdle. Hopefully, this will be better.

On a side note, did anyone else think of the T1000 when it mentioned "eating" people and taking on their form?

Those screenshots are lovely, this game's certainly got my attention.

Just please, no more orbs. Stuck on 482 on Crackdown and I can't get involved in something like that agin. I just...can't.

This does look and sound quite bloody awesome, there was a big feature for it in an Xbox mag a while back, and there were screen shots galore in that, and like this preview says, it's all looking surprisingly sexy so early in its development.

Parkour is bringing platforming back to games - elevating them (literally) above simple one-plane shooting/stabbing people in the face. If anything we should embrace its popularity and ride the benefits to greater, more dynamic gaming experiences. Freedom in a significant sense - not simply "I can run over people if I want!".

"You can then do anything the officer could - like ordering an air strike on a military base - with no questions asked."

Hahahahahaha!

But, yes, this does sound good. Even if eating random people contradicts my "do no evil" / "do as little murderous slaughter as possible" approach to games.

Blimey Miss Gibson, been a wee while since I saw your Dundee-hatted profile picture atop a Eurogamer item!

Much as I hate parkour and the twats that practice it, the game looks cool. Like Crackdown, but taking the comic-book style away from the slightly shiny look and feel and dumping it into a more Gaiman-esque universe.

Consider yourself lucky mate - I'm on 499. FOUR-NINE-NINE!

Finding that last one is driving me crazy! Especially as the previous 16 I found by accident within an hour (was replaying through some of the bosses - must have skipped merrily through a bit too quick first time around).

'Parkour is bringing platforming back to games'

Prince of Persia is older than Parkour.

Platform games brought Parkour to 'going out to play'.
