Three hours? Normally I would say I hope it'll be about £3.50/400 points, but since it's Ubisoft I expect they'll charge double that.

Sorry, no way. Such a poorly made game can't be fixed with a bit of DLC.

I loved the game and i gladly pay 800 or 1200 MS points for this DLC. One of my favourite games in 2008.

Oops sold the game a while ago plus didn't care for the ending anyway.

For me it was a pleasant diversion but Tomb Raider was the better platformer of 2008

I'm enjoying playing through the game. Strangely enough given the complaints, I'm not the target audience for an increased difficulty epilogue. I am enjoying the game as it is. Gives me a chance to finish it despite real life doing its best to prevent me from doing that. :)

As for pricing, IMO, 3 and a half hours of entertainment would be good value at £3.5 or even £7. It's a decent length.

Full game = 7 hours. DLC = 3 hours. DLC price = 50% of full game? I bloody hope not!

I enjoyed playing through PoP during Christmas and if this DLC is sensibly priced I'll probably pick it up.

WILL THE GAME ALSO HAVE ITS BUGS FIXED!!

Sorry to shout but i played through it twice just to find out it had gliched somewhere and i could not get all 1001 seeds, even tho on the map screen it said i had them all in every area and i yes i did also complete the game for the final seed.

It was my last trophy as well that i needed for the platinum!

The game bored me senseless, bit's of it were OK but I lost interest early on and it wasn't in the same league as Tomb Raider.

I enjoyed my time with the game very much, and even went back and spent a few hours whoring for Achievements since it was so much fun.

Can't see the DLC being less than 800 points, though, which isn't really in the ballpark for two or three hours of expanded entertainment when the same points could get you a complete XBLA game with more lasting appeal.

Shame, but I guess enough people must pony up 800 points for DLC like this or they wouldn't keep doing it.

/bought the Fable II DLC

/is part of the problem

GamesProgrammer @ thats a known glitch, altho when I got it I decided to play again since I also needed speed master.... and I beat the game with 5 deaths, 9h and all 1001 seeds collected without using guids.....sooo it doesnt take that much time :)

Also I am sure that the glitch is just on the map screen, and 1 seed is somewhere there to take.....you would just need to revisit all locations....

Another glitch I experienced was also with seeds, but in combo with saving your game....for example I got all the seeds in 1 location, save game...restart and what? I need 2 more seeds from that location? even tho I teleported? yep....sold the game, cant be arsed to play it with all those glitches, got platinum tho...at least it wasn't that hard :)

Yeah, but people also keep on ponying up the £40 for full games that are finishable in 7- 8 hours. In the context of the rrp for Prince of Persia 800 points for 2-3 hours is reasonable.

How can the DLC be more difficult than the main game?

You don't even have watch the screen for half the game for christs sakes, the game pretty much plays itself!

Honestly I'm quite excited about this as I was one of the few who adored the game despite it's "lack of challenge". Between all the Fallout 3 DLC, The Lost and Damned GTA stuff and this I don't think I will even need to buy a new game until Resident Evil 5.

Well my original 360 version of PoP went missing in the post before Christmas so I ended up getting a refund for it as I had to wait so long before I could report it as missing (to GAME) that the game was discounted!!! Thus, I picked it up for the PC... for £12! At that price, it's a great little game IMO, not perfect but it's really enjoyable in small doses and looks gorgeous visually, all running at a silky-smooth 60 fps at a higher resolutions than the 360 could ever manage. Worked out very well for me in the end really! :)

I'm interested in the DLC but, obviously, only for the PC.

I hear what you're saying, Chaote-Imagicka, but I think that's a narrow point. In the first instance, it took me 15 hours to finish the game and I didn't exactly dawdle. Anyone finishing it in 8 hours is either a robot, or a saddo. ;-) For the average player games last a lot longer, I'd wager.

Also, with the Internet stores, and especially in the run up to Christmas, nobody should be paying £40 for a game. I got Prince of Persia for £20, for example.

And with DLC the publisher/developer is, you'd think, getting more of a cut than from retail sales (and for a lot less effort). I don't think it's too much to ask for the DLC to be more reasonably priced than it is.

That said, and to be clear, it's the principle that I'm debating really. At the end of the day it's just a couple of quid we're talking about here. :)

I won't be tricked by DLC again! I fell for the Force Unleashed DLC, got excited about Fable 2 Knothole bullshit and went for it, and was slightly disappointed with Anchorage for Fallout 3. This time, I'm waiting for the review and the price before I make a decision. And didn't they say that the DLC would be "significant"?

urgh.... more powers? The powers were what was wrong with the game in the first place, and they were so fucking stupid (except wall running), and two of them were exactly the same...

If they release DLC that allows you to play through the game, with no shitty fights, no powers, and the original sands of time voice actor, then I'll buy

I bought PoP (£18) got half way through and then got Mirror’s Edge (£15). Completed ME first and went back to PoP. Both games are on the opposite ends of the spectrum difficultly and control wise, but both require you to do inhuman feats of aero-gameage. I enjoyed both, but also got a bit bored of both for the opposite reasons. PoP had no real challenge, while in ME you might have to a try a part over and over again until you could pass it (including the stupid kill fours guys when you could just run away bits).

However the environments in both games were great and at the price I got em for in the crazy pre-chrimbo price slashing I have no complaints. I am looking forward to getting the DLC for both games, they better not be more than 800 points each though.

I might check this DLC if the price is right. The game itself had it's merits and it's flaws but i can say that i enjoyed it. Although i didn't really liked the "cliffhanger" ending.

I'm totally sold on this if it provides a more satisfying ending. PoP was probably my second favourite platformer last year after Mirror's Edge. If they do some PC DLC I might even buy that version too so I can play it on-the-go on my laptop (assuming it's not crippled with DRM).
