That really does look incredible. Will be interesting to see how GT5 measures up to it.

It looks pretty sweet, the video on forzamotorsport.net shows off some impressive lighting.

If they can get that running at 60fps like they said they would, I will be astonished.

It does look lovely.

Let's hope they bother putting a reasonable number of tracks into this one. Loved the first game, felt very let down by the restricted range of tracks in the second version.

The final screenshot with the ferrari f430 tail light appears to be run on Suzuka, between the degner curves and the hairpin- looks like it's made a reappearance for this instalment.

Che from Turn 10 stated on Gaf that the screenshots are straight from photomode, no touch ups. We shall see. Does look damn good though.

Visually looks a lot better than Forza 2 and hopefully a little bit less steriles. Maybe dynamic weather and some night races as well.

Stuz359,

definately, dynamic weather, more tracks and generally more variability in the gameplay. The second was good but got boring pretty quickly

I think I heard a while ago point to point races are back?

Glad to see the art quality has improved, though that XK-R doesn't look quite 'right'. Hopefully the higher art quality exists throughout the game, and that this is not just a case of picking the best of the bunch.

As the accidentally published pre-release numberplates for MSR read, GT WHO?

Oh, and according to the XBLMP info, FM3 has at least 100 tracks, and I swear down that one of them in the trailer looked like a mountain climb/point-to-point.

Once I see it running and looking like that, then I'll be impressed. For the moment I think any excitement is distinctly premature as that looks distinctly like 'photo mode' to me.

The devs have already said that that's photo mode... *sighs*

Do people not bother reading the comments before posting any more?

What? No Digital Foundry pixel by pixel analysis to accompany said screenshots. Eurogamer is getting fucking lazy! Not good enough.

great stuff hopefully the game will have a nice damage model and more "gritty "visuals and make the most of 360s untapped power unlike the ps3 s beautiful but sterile and boring gt5p

It's funny.

Here we have a racing game with a release date, that looks just as good as GT5 - and GT5 STILL doesn't have a date, but you are supposed to wait for the "awesomeness"

Sony all over really. They are so busy saying what they are going to do that they never seem to actually have anything now.

@cronom, you've already seen it running if you watched the E3 video with the stunts - that WAS IN GAME, there's even a trailer on GT that shows the sam level of graphical power that has "Actual in game footage" across the bottom.

Except the one with the white Ferrari all the rest are 1280x720 aka 720p which is the native resolution for the xbox 360.
