You can expect a full review of Ninja Gaiden 2 shortly. In the meantime, why not read a brief history of the series.

This is sort of irksome because I already preordered with amazon a month ago and got nothing for my troubles.

Just a quick calculation... this is worth it unless you can get the game for under £33 delivered. (Assuming you want some points)

Gets a little more complicated if you want the pre-order costumes that game are offering as they're 200 points to buy.

Isn't this just free advertising for HMV?

This is like the third time you've posted one of these offers.

i got mine pre-ordered from gameplay for £32.99 as they usually deliver a day early. a mate who works at game gave me 6 of the 500 point cards from the GTA4 launch so i dont need to worry about this! oh and anybody who is buying the costumes should see if they have any friends also buying the game in case the dlc works the same as in VF5, where u can copy the save to multiple machines via memory card and share the cost.

Given that the game is a significant £5 more at HMV than it is at GAME, and a whopping £7 more than it is at GamePlay, I'd say that this is the worst 'offer' in the history of man.

@woodnotes: 1000 points works out to be about £7.62 worth (if you're paying £16 for 2100) so it's neither here nor there really.

I wasn't in a rush to buy this game but GAME had it listed for £34.99 so I pre-ordered it using £5 of my Reward Card points bringing the cost down to under £30. Bargain! :)

Isn't this just free advertising for HMV?

A free advert that mentions two places where the game is cheaper isn't really an advert, now, is it?

I was going to pre-order GTAIV in HMV for the 1000 points deal, but it wasn't worth it tbh. Instead of charging £40 (€50), they wanted €75 (£60). Their conversion rate is about 18 months out of date. Ended up getting it for €40 (£32) in Tesco instead :)

£47 on it - I guess that's my retailer of choice sorted!

Well yes, but that seems tiresome. I'd much rather spend that time whining about it to be honest.

HMV is one of the few places you can use student discount, so I might go for this, same deal as with GTA

Had it ordered with Play.com for £40, now switched to GAME, £35 and the free costumes isn't that bad and I don't really need the points.
