Pokémon Explorers dated
Why July? Because Nintendo said so.
Nintendo has decided to release DS game Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/Darkness in Europe on 4th July.
Tom accidentally skipped over this in his monster list of European Nintendo release dates because he was excited about WiiWare (what happened to "Wii Software"?) being cemented for 20th May and Super Smash Bros. Brawl lining up for 27th June.
He blamed the rat we saw in the street the other day that may or may not have been Splinter, but I blame the bonkers old biddy who feeds pigeons and seagulls that then proceed to shit their dinner all over my flat. [This is terrible. Redo it. - Ed]
Explorers of Time and Darkness cast you as a Pokémon after you answer some personality questions to determine which breed you will become.
Then you toddle off to rescue and recruit other Pokémon dotted around the world.
Essentially more of what Blue and Red Rescue team offered us in 2006, then. And you can read our thoughts on those offerings over in our Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team review.
