Play as a zombie in new PC shooter
Cry of the Infected out now.
Cyborg Arm Games has released a new downloadable PC FPS which promises to put a new spin on the survival horror genre.
Titled Cry of the Infected, it's set in a city where a biological experiment has gone wrong and turned everyone into zombies. The twist is you play as one of them - specifically, one called Robert, who's trying to find his missing wife.
"The story is really told through two perspectives," said game creator Luke Porter. "You experience this gruesome environment as a zombie, but you also find pieces of a letter from one of the soldiers assigned to contain the zombie outbreak."
It should only take you an hour or two to complete the game's 13 levels, but then it does only cost USD 4. And you can replay it for an alternate ending and an unlockable weapon.
Cry of the Infected is available now from the Cyborgarm website. Absolutely no idea if it's any good or not.

Eurogamer, how much did they pay you to credit this as a news story? It looks beyond abysmal.

It's crap. If you're remotely considering buying it try the abysmal demo first.

But this thing does indeed look and SOUND hilarious, though. It definitely deserves some publicity. Zombie fistfight through walls FTW!

Thing is, the premise actually sounds kinda interesting, but the execution. Oh my.
